Brighton is a beach city which belongs to Brighton and
 Hove, 1 hour by train from London. To go there you need to go to 
Victoria Station and buy your ticket, they have machines there to sell tickets. </div>
I think we paid 2 tickets 42£ to go and return. if you book in advance it can be cheaper.

<br />
Like in London this place is beautiful, the beach has rocks in place of the sand.<br />
There is a pier with a leisure park and around town, night pubs, restaurants, museums. It is like made for you to have fun. they also have lots of festivals and meetings during the year.

<br />
They have an amazing palace in the middle of the city called Royal Pavilion, I was very impressed because it is an Indian Palace, very big and beautiful. I did not get in,

maybe in the next visit! This palace was built as a home for the Prince Regent during the early 19th century.<br />
Also the retro style is very present, I received an advertisement about a vintage party in Brighton from the site Vintage Nation that I was really interested in, but I could not go.

Advantages and disadvantages: Is more secure than London (I want to live there if we can), the only problem is the wind, seriously it is very strong.

Vintage Stores 1

Hello there!<br />
London and surroundings are full of these stores, some of them very nice. Today I will talk about three of them:<a href="http://www.absolutevintage.co.uk/">Absolute Vitage</a> , <a href="http://www.beyondretro.com/">Beyondretro</a> and <a href="http://www.rokit.co.uk/">Rokit</a> .<br />
<br />
I visited the store Absolute Vintage in 15 Hanbury Street, (Shoreditch) It is a very good store but it is always full, and the prices are high, because everybody goes there. They don't allow taking pictures.<br />
<br />
Rokkit is a small but good store, they have a good website. I visited the store in 101 Brick Lane (Shoreditch)<br />
<br />
These pictures are in Beyond Retro Brighton, the biggest and the best store I saw there. Very good store, prices and staff.<br />
I promise to visit the other stores and come back here to tell how they are.<br />

Sometimes <a href="http://www.judysvintagefair.co.uk/city/london/">Judy's Vintage Fair</a> happens. I saw it on the bag of a girl on the Overground, it will next happen 26th of May, follow their site to get more information.<br />

Louboutin at Design Museum

I'm still sighing about this exposition, the shoes are amazing pieces of art.<br />
<br />
The exposition graciously celebrates 20 years of Christian Louboutin's career.<br />
<br />
They have different spaces in the exposition divided between the main room with a lot of displays and one stage along the middle, one room about his history, one with a video of him dancing with Broadway dancers, a exposition about his studio and a fetish room - this one is very artistic. <br />

After all that, when you come back to the main room, on the stage there is a presentation of Dita Von Teese with holographic system every 15 minutes and it is fantastic - very technologic. The exposition ticket is 11,00£. Is proibed take pictures.

You also can visit the rest of the museum :) with really nice well-designed pieces including the olympic torch.

Design Museum is near Tower Bridge Station, you have to cross the bridge and it's by the river's edge.<br />

From the press conference podium Louboutin explains that one of the 
difficulties of the exhibition was that the shoes were necessarily seen 
as objects rather than being viewed worn. "When I am designing it starts
 from a sketch but is never complete until the moment of seeing it on 
someone's foot," he says.<br />
He also gave some clues as to what might
 be missing from the exhibition. Telling an anecdote from his time at 
the Folies Bergère where the showgirls would put veal carpaccio into 
their shoes for comfort (the lack of blood in the veal makes them more 
effective insoles apparently) he reiterated that while he wasn't against
 it in principle, he certainly didn't want his designs to evoke comfort 
first. He also joked that he had "never met a woman who wanted shorter 
legs". <i>The </i><a href="http://designmuseum.org/exhibitions/future-exhibitions" title=""><i>Christian Louboutin exhibition</i></a><i> at the Design Museum, London, runs until Monday 9 July.</i><br />

The route of <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Strand,_London" title="The Strand, London">the Strand</a> on the southern boundary of what was to become Covent Garden was used during the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Britain" title="Roman Britain">Roman period</a> as part of a route to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silchester" title="Silchester">Silchester</a>, known as "Iter VII" on the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonine_Itinerary" title="Antonine Itinerary">Antonine Itinerary</a>.<sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-4"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covent_Garden#cite_note-4"><span>[</span>5<span>]</span></a></sup><sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-5"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covent_Garden#cite_note-5"><span>[</span>6<span>]</span></a></sup> Excavations in 2006 at <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Martin-in-the-Fields" title="St Martin-in-the-Fields">St Martin-in-the-Fields</a> revealed a Roman grave, suggesting the site had sacred significance.<sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-6"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covent_Garden#cite_note-6"><span>[</span>7<span>]</span></a></sup>
 The area to the north of the Strand was long thought to have remained 
as unsettled fields until the 16th century, but theories by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Vince" title="Alan Vince">Alan Vince</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Biddle" title="Martin Biddle">Martin Biddle</a> that there had been an <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Saxon" title="Anglo-Saxon">Anglo-Saxon</a> settlement to the west of the old Roman town of <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Londinium" title="Londinium">Londinium</a> were borne out by excavations in 1985 and 2005.  gradually shifted the settlement into the old Roman town of Londinium 
from around 886 AD onwards, leaving no mark of the old town, and the 
site returned to fields.<sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-Clark_8-0"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covent_Garden#cite_note-Clark-8"><span>[</span>9<span>]</span></a></sup><br />

Around 1200 the first mention of an abbey garden appears in a document mentioning a walled garden owned by the <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benedictine_monk" title="Benedictine monk">Benedictine monks</a> of the Abbey of <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Peter,_Westminster" title="St. Peter, Westminster">St. Peter, Westminster</a>. A later document, dated between 1250 and 1283, refers to "the garden of the Abbot and Convent of Westminster".<sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-Burford1_9-0"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covent_Garden#cite_note-Burford1-9"><span>[</span>10<span>]</span></a></sup>
 By the 13th century this had become a 40-acre (16 ha) quadrangle of 
mixed orchard, meadow, pasture and arable land, lying between modern-day

Hello There!!!<br />
Some tips about London Weather<br />
1- Always carry a scarf with you in your bag.<br />
2-Go to Primark or Boots and buy Lip Smackers Lip Balm because the wind makes it hurt.<br />
3- Buy jackets and at least one impermeable.<br />
4- Use tennis shoes. For long days walking in museums or stores .<br />
5- Buy in amazon a coin counter like this <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Phoenix-Counter-Pounds-Sterling-SB0023/dp/B004DLWET2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1335483658&sr=8-3">click here .</a> ( This is a joke but help some times)<br />
6- Wear something nice under the jacket because you will need take the jacket out when you are inside. (I am talking seriously)<br />
7- Have an umbrella!<br />
8- Have impermeable shoes.<br />
9- Have hats or caps.<br />
