Hello there!

Today was a surprise day. We decided to go to the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising, so we took the train to Notting Hill gate station then we walked through Portobello Road and found an amazing antique fair, so we took much longer to arrive in the museum. We bought the book Independent London Store Guide, by Moritz Steiger and Effie Fotaki. After that we got lost and decided to have lunch in Daylesford (Organic Farm Gloucestershire) A really nice place.
After that we went to the museum. It was really nice; it was in a small street so you really need a map to arrive. The museum has lots of packaging from 1900 until now.
For me the most interesting part was the difference in the packaging in 1940 when the war was announced, and at the end of the gallery where some brands show the evolution of the packaging. And of course the part about Guinness advertising.
All designers need to visit this place, the tickets are 6£ per adult, more information at the site:www.museumofbrands.com
