Board Games Stores

Hello there!<br />
Maybe this post can be interesting if you like board games. It is a sugestion for these cold days in London. My husband took me to a board games store. The name is <a href="http://www.leisuregames.com/acatalog/Two_Player_Games.html">Leisure Games </a>with a large variety. It is near Finchley Central station after Camden Town.<br />
Another store is <a href="http://www.orcsnest.com/index.asp">Orcs Nest</a>, this is in Seven Dials but they have in the store more RPGs. <br />
We bought this game, the book was from Amazon but it is a great pair. <br />

Shoreditch Boxpark

Again Talking about Shoreditch now about Boxpark.<br />

<a href="" target="_blank" title="Boxpark">Boxpark</a>
 is the world’s first pop-up shopping mall, comprising of 60 shipping 
containers stacked 2 floors high. Appearing in a goods yard this August, the new shopping complex 
will feature a varied mix of retailers to cater to all budgets, from 
mainstream brands to more the more niche, as well as cafes and a balcony
 terrace.<br />

Designed by <a href="" target="_blank" title="Waugh Thistleton Architects">Waugh Thisleton Architects,</a>
 this is a low cost solution for a temporary site, one that is to be 
developed after 2015 by the current owners, with a promise that the mall
 will have a 5 year lifespan. Until then, Boxpark will bring down rental
 costs for retail units, especially in fashionable Shoreditch. Retailers
 are offered 2 options; a 1 year contract so that new businesses can 
test the idea, and if they prosper, are offered a 5 year lease.<br />
The use of shipping containers means that units can be fabricated 
elsewhere, and introduced instantly to the mall. They are being seen as 
an ideal building material; they’re stackable and weather resistant, and
 thanks to their standardised sizing, they create great modular 
opportunities.  <br />

Sherlock Holmes Museum!

Another influence from London to the world was the amazing stories of Sherlock Holmes, which is an icon of Youth literature. <br />
The second museum I have visited when I arrived here was the Sherlock Museum and I liked it.<br />
It is a small and cute museum in the address: 221b Baker Street London<br />

If you are traveling with the  intention to buy books and if you like comics, this is a famous  bookstore and toy store. Before travel verify in your country ship transport services to send the books because paper is very heavy  and you may have to pay excess baggage.<br />
In this store I had the oportunity to meet my favourite illustrator alive, Tara Macpherson. (See the pictures)<br />
They always have book signing events or books signed.<br />
I realy reccomend this store for people that like Toy art, cartoons, games, TV series (They have all about Dr Who), comics ,RPG.<br />

Camden Town Crazy London Punk

Hello there, Some things about Camdem Town.<br />

 I heard about this place  after Amy's Winehouse death and we went there last year to know where  she lived. I heard she always walked by the pubs and the market like a  normal person. In this clip you can see some of Camden but in an   exaggerated vision.<br />

Back then was the first time I saw real Punks here in London, where I thought lots of them existed.<br />

 I  followed a bit of this cultural movement when I was a child, because of  them I started to like Sex Pistols and for me they were responsible for inserting philosophical thought in real life, Sex  Pistols was a kind of marketing about the rebel young London people. At this time was when I started to get interested about this country.<br />
<br />
In Camden Town you can find lots of different things like Goth clothes,  pin up clothes, hats and fashion based in punk culture, alternative pubs,  jazz pubs. <br />
<br />
About restaurants: we eat at this place in the picture, The  Diner and I, as a sincere person, don't recommend it. I thought it is too  expensive and I found a small piece of bone in my hamburger, who  has already had this experience knows how it hurts.<br />

Saturday at the London Zoo

We started the tour in the aquarium and the great surprise was that they had lots of brazilian fishes.<br />

We saw in there information about an keep for a day program, you can feed and take care of some animals for a day, It isn't cheap but is amazing!<br />
